Little rock, arkansas
Little Rock Arkansas played a part in the Civil Rights Movement because in the fall of 1957, Little Rock was thrown into the national spotlight as nine African Americans integrated the Little Rock Central High School. Controversy and angry mobs lined the streets of Arkansas' capital and now serves as a reminder of the price that was paid for equal education.
